Art Carr custom 9.5\" billet converters....good or bad?

They are having a sale on their 9.5" custom billet converters rated 800-1200hp and I am interrested in one. Are they good and has anybody switched to an Art Carr converter and picked up ET/MPH?

You know how I feel about AC. Someone we both know used one & slowed down a little.

Art Carr custom 9.5\" billet converters....good or bad?

Art Carr said this was their $800 converter on sale for $450 and that's why I'm interested. I have a Gary Gonzolez converter(Albuquerque local place) in it now and it was $650 and was supposed to stall at 4500 on the bottle/4000 off the juice and instead it stalls to 5500 OFF the bottle. John Urist used the Gonzolez converters until early last year when he went to a Neil Chance but didn't really drop much ET. How am I supposed to run nitrous when it will probably stall 6000-6500 on the bottle which is about where my hp peak is off the bottle and on the bottle the peak hp RPM drops about 500rpm so stalling above peak hp is not what I want to do. I don't want to buy a converter that has a bad reputation either(like GER). Should I try it for that price?
