Electric Water Pump Q\'s

Im putting a CSR 905 elec. water pump on my early 289. I would like to keep my heater so the question is where can I plumb the heater hose? Also what about the by-pass hose? Do I eliminate the BP hose with different style thermostat housing?

Electric Water Pump Q\'s

I got it figured out. I called CSR tech support. I was told to drill 3 3/16 holes in the thermostat and this will act like a bypass hose to keep from running the pump dry. The heater hose can be plumb on the bottom of the pump by removing the plug and use a 3/4 pipe thread to 5/8 barb adapter for the heater hose. Plug the heater hose outlet on the t-stat housing by tapping threads for a plug
