I totally forgot about the cam, they guy who i got it from a while ago said that he put in a thumper or loping cam in it. And with the headers i was thinking about a 3.5 inch pipe... would that be too big or?
A good 10" converter and headers with a 3" exhaust would be good additions.
What gear is in the car now? If it doesn't have some sort of limited slip or traction bars, you'll definitely need those.
With the big engine, you won't need a ton of gear. What I recommended in the previous post should be fine.
The Weiand Stealth intake that was mentioned would be a good choice, and will take a lot of weight off the front end. As was said, check hood clearance.
If you've still got money burning a hole in your pocket, you may want to investigate the ignition. If it's not electronic already, a MSD unit would be a good upgrade. Make sure to get a good advance curve. If you buy a new MSD Billet distributor, the last one I bought had the stiffest springs and smallest bushing. Lots of room for improvement with lighter springs, etc.
But, first mods... Exhaust, torque converter, rear end gears, and traction. Those will get the most 'bang for the buck'. Dual 3" should be plenty.
