For those of you who have swapped in a World Class T5 into a 64/65 Falcon or Mustang, what did you do about a neutral safety switch? I had planned on just hooking up to what I thought was the factory one located on the left side in the top cover. From what I've been reading it's not technically a neutral safety switch. It's a sensor that was connected to the computer. Anyway, what are guys doing for this?

This is Bret from Modern Driveline. The plug on the top of the front of the transmission is for cruse control cars. The purpose is to tell the computer that neutral has been selected and to cancel cruse control. This plug although called the "Safety Neutral" Switch, is not for use with the ignition. The wires are too light and you will melt the wires if hooked up like a conventional switch.

Hope that helps.
