The Coyote takeover of the Ford street legal market is nearly complete and leading the charge are the turbocharged Mustangs. NMRA and Keystone Automotive are pleased to announce that it will continue to showcase some of the wildest and baddest turbocharged modern Mustangs on the planet. Presented by Hellion Turbo, the Turbo Coyote Shootout boosts into action March 1-4, 2018, during the 24th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout, presented by Steeda, at Bradenton Motorsport Park in Bradenton, Florida.
Last year we watched local tuner and Mustang racer Sai Li beat the odds to make his way into the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle. Can he snatch back-to-back NMRA event wins with his 7-second turbo Mustang or will his local rival, Justin Jordan, stake a claim with his MBRP-sponsored Mustang? New for this year is open enrollment for the Turbo Coyote Shootout—no longer will be exclusive to S197 and S550 platforms, as any year Ford that packs a turbocharged Coyote engine are welcome to compete.
Records are broken during NMRA national events and the Hellion Turbo Coyote Shootout is poised to see several core accomplishments achieved, including the quickest S550 Mustang, quickest 6R80-equipped Mustang, and many other legitimate titles. Bring out your turbocharged Coyote Mustang or Ford for fun, safe, and organized drag racing.
Brought to you by series sponsor, Keystone Automotive, the Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout, presented by Steeda, features insane heads-up Street Outlaws, Renegades, Coyote Modifieds and much more as the season kicks off with a bang…only in Bradenton, Florida!
