Woo hoo
Finally got ma 9.96 @ 136 mph and was off the gas an back on it
The run with the wheelie was a 10.2 @ 134mph unloaded the rear tyres
Foot brake launch with a Dynamic Racings Trans C4 Mighty Mite 2
Roll on next year

515 HP @ 7,243 RPM on a stock block it will not make it long. my 347 made 508 at 6500 and I'm at the max of a stock block

Depends on your definition of long? Still running strong for 5 years...It is more like 540 ish HP now with more tuning and in perfect conditions it has gone a best of 9.80 @138.9 @ 2,700 lbs. I agree that you never know how long it will last, but there are a lot of variables to longevity.

My 331 has been in my racecar for 15 years. Stock 289 2 bolt main block , no girdle. Eagle crank, Carrillo rods, 11.5 pistons, Vic jr heads, roller, ti valves, dual quads on old school factory intake, 8,000 through the lights. Makes a tic over 500 hp. [email protected] 121 w /1.50 60's foot brake C4, 5.29 gear, 3,150lbs. Modified Mustangs and Fast Fords Feb 2011 for full details.
