Have thought about carburator will check if i can borrow a E85 compatible and test. The engine sounds very angry when i rev it in park. Throttle response is pretty awesome...

It stumbles and it feel like its not running on all cylinders when driven.
When I remove a plugwire at idle the engine just keeps on like nothing happened.
Thought I find a bad plug so I tested more and it doesent care which wire I remove.
It runs on like nothing happened. Plugs are Bpr6fs. Removed all plugs and some are black of soot and some grey and some white. Checked the o2sensor and that also black of soot. Have ordered the 290hr roller now. Will try that out before this fitech goes out of car.
Your vacuum is too low, you have too much cam, nothing will be right until you fix that

However, you could also have a vacuum leak on top of that. I would look closely for something not sealed, big hose lines off the FITECH or plugs not in the intake. If that is good, then wait until the cam swap to look close at the intake gasket

However, you have way too much overlap on that cam because of too much duration and too tight of centers It is simply almost the most wrong cam it could be. So IMHO, don't waste your time on a carb, it will likely be worse

3 inches of vacuum is really tough to tune, and it is all because of the cam. As a reference, the drag car I tune runs at 7 inches of vacuum with similar compression and my street truck runs 11, and the difference from 3 to 7 is much more significant than 7 to 11.

Re: Building 351c

Hi i have got the new camshaft and i began too install it. I couldent get the old camshaft out it slipped out of first bearing but second noway.
I had to use a sledge hammer and knock it out. All bearings look melted i have now pulled the engine and began torndown to find out what happend.
I checked valvspring pressure and it is 135 and around 370 its not that much of pressure.
Cam bearings is durabond f-26-1 And f-18-2 to 5.
