Trick flow header bolt question

I have a set of trick flow twisted wedge heads with the header bolt holes at 2 inches on center. I have an oportunity to buy a set of headers that have the flange for heads with two bolts on each side of the exhaust port, at least that is what I am assuming the wider flanges are for. My question is can I drill and tap wider holes in these heads so I can use these headers? Is there water jackets anywhere near the exhaust ports? Anybody done this before?
