Header Skid Plates

Don't know why this hasn't caught on. Been doing it for 20+ years, and it's saved my headers on MULTIPLE occasions.

Yes, I'm aware the bottom of the car is dirty. Engine has been in there for 6-7 years. Price you pay for reliability. Plus, it actually gets driven quite a bit. LOL

Anybody else do this? It spreads the impact out across all the header tubes, and the entire header flexes on impact, instead of smashing individual tubes.

great idea . but I like replacing tubes .not really

BTW , you know anyone that wants to buy some D shape 2" tubes , kind of look like a D
