Lost brake lights

Looking for some pointers here. I lost my brake light today. Replace brake light switch on master cylinder thinking it had to be because it was so old. I have no running lights and no brake light. Blinker work fine in the rear though. headlights work, high beams work. I did get a few sparks off the wire to the brakelike switch when installing the new switch. here are some pictures of what i think is the fuse in the front of car. can you guys give me some direction?Wiring is something i;m not so good at. thanks you

Re: Lost brake lights

first pic. looks like a horn relay. connect the two wires from the master cyl. switch and wiggle the turn signal lever around. look for brake lights to come on.

Re: Lost brake lights

Sometimes, it's the turn signal switch inside the steering column... at least for 60's mustangs, it is. However, they are readily available... at least for mustangs. Hope it's something simple. Good Luck!

This is the early 60s headlight switch. Your might be similar. Ther looks to be three fuses in there.

Re: Lost brake lights

I had a brake light issue only. I fixed it by slightly crimping the female connection to the master cylinder.
