69 wipers motor wiring ?

Hi, got a strange thing going on with my wiper motor. There are 4 wires, Red, Black, Blue and White.

I get the red is 12v power, the blue and white provide power for low speed/high speed wiper operation. The Black is a ground that somehow gets the motor to return the wipers to their resting position.

My wipers have rested off the windshield onto the cowl, and the with doesn't get them to move at all.

I do get 12v at the white and blue when the switch is moved, the red has 12v also, I tried to ground the black and learned that's not the right thing to do. Any suggestions on what could be wrong here? I just don't get it.

Thanks All!

There is an internal switch in the motor that operates the parking. The motor is grounded, or should be. Check that first. It may be that the parking mechanism inside the motor is damaged. I'm not sure how to check the motor off the wiring harness.
