1968 Fairlane front brakes

Hi Team, I am based in New Zealand and am in the process of getting my fairlane coupe certified. It has had a replacement disc brake kit from directfitbrakes fitted to it which utilises the 1979 Granada spindles. I have been asked to get information on the original spindles in comparison to the new ones to see if there is any bump steer or steering geometry issues. Everything I can find on the internet seems to point to the spindles being the same with the exception of the spindle off the Granada being sturdier and has large bearings. As there are no cars like mine anywhere near me to check the original spindles I was wondering if anyone had information on them.
