Questions, questions, and more questions

Hi again

I have just put a 1968 302 into my 1962 ford falcon and I have some questions that need to be answered to.

1. It seems that my water pump is awfully close to my radiator to fit a clutch type of cooling fan. Does ford make a shorty type of water pump for the 302?
2. Since I am putting a C-4 transmission in does anyone make a conversion cross member to fit into my car?
3. How much does this car weight with this combination?

Thanks for your efforts in advance!

Terry

Hi Terry. My 60 with a 289 and a 4 speed withb a 9 inch wieghed 2610 on a set of race scales. I gained a hundred pounds when i back halfed it with the cage. I dont know if the make a shorty pump by why not just ran a straight stock steel fan. It worked good for me with the 289.

62 Comet with 302: I ended up using a 66 Mustang radiator and water pump and ran a 16" or 17" flex fan with a 1.5" spacer.
