I need a tail light bucket and a right front turn signal for a \'62

I fooled around with the wiring more today, I've got most of it done, I just have to get the headlight switch figured out and the panel lights on. However, I have ran into a couple of snags...

I can't get my left taillight to work. It will work half-ass if I wiggle the wires, but thats about it. I tried cleaning the contacts, that didn't help.

I'm also having trouble with my right front turn signal. I can't get it to light up. The bulb is good. I tried cleaning the contacts in the socket, it didn't help.

I'm also in need of the bulb holders for the cluster lights. I need all of the bulb holders, the ones for the back lighting, and the ones for the "oil" and "gen" and "high beam indicator" lights too.

If anyone has these parts that are in working condition, let me know. I can paypal you ASAP.

You can buy the double wire pigtails in the Help section of most parts stores. I may have the cluster wires on a partial loom in the shop. Will check and get back to you

It isn't the wiring pigtail thats bad, its the socket for the bulb itself. I plug the bulb in but it doesn't light up.

I tested the bulb and it works. I cleaned the contacts, and I have cut off the wiring harness clip and have reduced it to 2 bare wires and it still isn't lighting the bulb up.

I might look in the "help!" parts for a bulb holder and try to rig it up to fit inside the bucket, just as a temporary fix.

I see that Falcon Enterprises has reproduction buckets for either a '63 or a '64, but not for a '62. I was thinking of ordering them, but I'd really like to get a set of '62 buckets to keep the car original. The buckets that are on there now are a little beat up and oxidized, so a better looking set of buckets and new seals would be nice.

The car came with a bunch of extra lenses (and a few buckets but the buckets are all in bad shape). The lenses look like they are from several different years because there are a couple of pairs of different shapes. When I have time I'll post some pics.

The 62 and 63 parking light buckets have the same part number, so no one would the difference. The early 63 and 62 used white lens. Later 63s used Amber lens,IIRC

I checked on the partial wire loom that I thought I had. When looking for it I remembered giving it to a friend. If you can't find what you need, I will look on a 62 parts car I have in the next county from me.

I'm hoping I will get to go to the junkyard this upcoming Monday. My uncle also has a Falcon parts stash, I'm about to give him a call. Hopefully I will figure out something soon. Falcon enterprises has new front turn signal buckets for $70/pair, I wonder if they would sell just one

Every time I make a little forward progress, I also find something else thats wrong w/ it, so its like I'm not really progressing at all
