Hello everyone, this is my second coming, so to speak. The last time I was here, Coolfalcon hadn't painted his car, Murff had just finished his engine mounts that were sort of copied from J15, and I was getting my feet wet on the construction of my '60 Falcon 2dr.
Anyway, this is what I have;
302, .020 over, KB115 pistons, 1.90/1.60 valved e7 heads,airgap intake w/570 Street Avenger carb, Duraspark ign. w/modified timing curve (22 degrees total mechanical), tri-y headers, .490/.508 hydraulic roller cam,factory roller rockers,3:55 geared 8' rear with Explorer disc brakes, AOD with Lentech components and non-lockup convertor
The car will be more of a "road"car instead of a 1/4 miler
I'll post some under construction pictures as soon as I figure out all the tricks of this site

Seeing you draped across the hood of your '61 is "almost" reason enough to be back.LOL You've brought many a chuckle to this old guy. Too bad we live on opposite coasts. My son is the one who posts my pictures because I'm so illiterate on these electronic marvels. Hopefully,I can get to his home tonight and get some pic's posted.
Lee,
Are you using the paper clip icon to add images. If you click the paper clip you can browse your desktop and find the images you want to upload. Let me know if you have any problems.
Thanks,
Jon

I've been in touch with the Admin guys (very helpful) about adding pictures. Mine are too large. I've also talked to my son and tomorrow we're going to reformat them so that they'll be of a size that I can print them here. He's also instructed me about changing the camera settings for future shots. I'm having a hard time moving into the 21st century...

Several years back, I followed your postings closely because of the similarities. Tried to get as many ideas from you, HankyJ, JustJim, F15Falcon, to name a few. You guys are sort of Cyber heroes, so to speak. My car won't be as race oriented as yours, don't even know if it will be as pretty, but it will be a driver. Thank you for your pictures and postings, and I'm hoping to get my pictures on soon.
I know you have a Dodge truck m/c for your braking system. Do you use any proportioning valve for brake bias? At present, I've got a Ford Ranger non-power m/c with 15/16" bore mounted in the car but I also have a '00 Mustang 6cyl. m/c with 1' bore. I'm not quite sure which will work the best but may actually try both once the car is on the streets
Hey, I seen your drag car and I am in the middle of tubbing a 1961 Falcon. It would really be great if you could send some underneath pics and any specs.
thx. camaroharry@yahoo.com
