1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero Leaf Springs

Hey everyone. I have a 1964 Falcon Ranchero and I have a question about the leaf springs. I attached a few photos. Is this how the rear of the leaf spring is supposed to attach to the car. I can't tell if this is a bracket somebody made or if it was like this from the factory? I also noticed that when you look at it head on the bracket looks bent slightly and the spring isn't sitting properly. It currently has old leaking air shocks I'm going to replace. Any insight is much appreciated!

Re: 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero Leaf Springs

Those are aftermarket leaf spring shackles; not stock. They were used a lot in my teen age years to jack up the back of your car when that was a cool thing. They also are use to compensate for weak & sagging leaf springs. The original mount is at the top, like extech says.

Here's mine (stock):
