Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I'm Mopar to the bone, but every Mopar guy is a closet Ford guy. My first car was 68 Galaxie ragger and I just bought another one just like it. I bleed Ford Red, Vermillion Red to be exact. My Ford passion is my shed full of N series Ford Tractors !!!

Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I have a 57 t bird , a 61 galaxie and a 1999 f150 all completely restored (f150 has fresh engine trans ball joints u joints and c-vs... Close enough.)

I'm a huge ford guy but I love chargers challengers and cudas I do like big block camaros and chevelles too but anything with an sbc in it pisses me off... It's just cheap laziness...

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

All Ford's here in my stable except for one. And it's not that typical for a classic, so it kind of deserves a free pass.

It's a 1970 AM-General M35a2. Out of all my cars/trucks, this one gets the most thumbs up and attention, when it's driven out on the streets.

I must have a very understanding wife......because I have way too many cars/trucks/motorcycles for one man to own.

Yes, it's powered by the Multi fuel. I mostly just burn Diesel in it, out of convenience. But I have run used motor oil, tranny fluid, hydraulic oil and old home heating oil through it on occasion with out any problems. Nothing like free fuel

I built it a few years back. It only had 5,200 miles on it when I bought it.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I usually bleed Ford blue. When I don't, it's because I'm bleeding Dodgers blue instead.

Charlie's kid: I never have trouble finding parts for Chevys
Louie: Yeah, there's lots of Chevys in wrecking yards.
Charlie: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I had/drove the rest, now I drive the best, Ford blue baby! Wifee drives a Chrysler...can't save 'em all, but my Ford's have never let me down. Even when I rent a car or truck, it HAS to be a Ford.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I love old cars.

Doesn't matter if it's a GM, Ford, or Chrysler, as long as it's not Datsun (Nissan), Toyota, BMW, VW, or any other make from across the sea.

When I think of how we once ruled this industry.....................

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I gotta say, Ford all the way. At 17 I'm already part of the next generation of Ford guys, but I'll admit that some Mopars can catch my eye. No chevys though, I've heard enough overbearing bowtie talk locally to turn me off of 'em, even the prettier ones.

Haha the only thing that runs better than a Ford around these parts is a chevy guy's mouth

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I'd say yes. There are four vehicles at my place and three of them are Fords. The fourth is an AMC, Jeep Comanche and it's a keeper. Over the years I've owned more Ford cars and trucks than any other brand.

Not that I'm so old, but my first car was a 1948 Ford, 2 door sedan. As a teenager, my Dad said I could have a car when I found one I could afford. This particular car sat under an Oak tree at a buddies house, where it had sat for 15 years! The car had been in a front end collision and a new front clip was hung loosely on the car but never finished. I bought the car for $50 bucks and towed it home with my Dad's 1950 Chevy truck. Over the course of 6 months we fixed her up and put her back on the road. I have fond memories of that old Ford.

My current stable includes:

2012 Ford Flex, my wifes, grand kid hauler
2011 Ford Mustang GT, the 5.0 Coyote is an incredible engine!
1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe, big plans for this car
1998 Jeep Comanche, my daily driver

I was a teen during the sixties and seventies and so I have fond memories of the muscle cars from that era. I remember them fondly and if I win the Lottery, will probably own a mixed bag of all brands.

Dream Stable, (60's - 70's):

1969 Boss 429 Mustang
1969 Boss 302 Mustang
1968 Mustang GT, 390
1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt, proabably a clone
At least one big Lincoln 2 door luxo barge!
1969 Camaro Z28
1970 Chevelle SS, 454, LS6
1970 Buick GSX Stage 1
1970 Old's 442 WS6
1964 Plymouth Belvedere, 2 door, 383
1970 Plymouth GTX, 440
1970 Plymouth Cuda, 426 or 440
1969 Dodge Super Bee, 440
1969 AMX

That'll do for now.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

Well my dad bought me a piece of GM crap for my 16th birthday (so I had work transport if I could find it) but I unloaded it the first chance I got. Learned to drive in a GM 15 passenger work van, but thats only because gas was free. Most of my time is logged in an 01 F150. Now I'm rocking a 73 F250. Course this is a long line of trucks that have blessed the driveway.
68 F100 390
88 F350 460 Crew Cab
89 F350 7.3
96 F350 460
01 F150 4.6 (current, but not mine)
73 F250 390 (current & mine)

Course thats not counting up my Grandpas trucks. Or the other Ford vehicles that the family have owned. What can I say, it's in my blood.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

Yes, but I'm not a Ford queer. If money was no option there would be a little bit of everything in my stable. I actually had an uncle who made you park behind his shed if you weren't driving a Ford when you went to his place, haha.

Current line up:
65 Mustang 2+2
63 Galaxie 500XL
02 Escape V6
03 F150 Supercrew 5.4

Really want to add a 65 'Bird to the list pretty bad.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I drive whatever strikes my fancy. Be it a crappy old 88 Nova econobox (gets 30 mpg), our 2002 Mazda Protege 5, or my 65 Falcon Sprint. I've had many makes and models over the years. I have no brand loyalty. Whatever I feel like driving, I drive.

Most of my dream cars ARE Ford products however.

Cash for cars is one reason for the crappy economy. Go advertise elsewhere.
