Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

First Post.
Anyway, my first car at 16 was a 64 Galaxie 500 w/ 390. By age 17 I had put a 428CJ, 4-Spd Top Loader, and a 9inch with 4.11s.

Since then the Fords have kept coming, albeit in the 4x4 variety
2) 1990 F-250 4x4
3) 1999 Super Duty F-350 V10 - single rear, w/411s (factory ordered)
4) 2003 Sport Trac Limited 4x4
5) 2005 Expedition Limited 4x4

In addition to the ones I currently have I am planning on adding a big block 4-speed 64 Galaxie in the mix just like high school. It all comes full circle if you wait long enough.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

As we say in Texas, a little.

First was a 1956 Ford Vic, it was red.

Second was 19631/2 'R' car, it is red. I still own the car. Now is, in a way, in restoration, a work in process. Number 3D66R144xxx.

Third was a 1965 F-100, not Blue.

Forth was a 1970 Mercury, not Blue.

Fifth was a 1974 F-100, it is white, still own it.

Sixth was a 1975 Mercury Grand, nthot Blue.

Seventh was 1981 Ford EXP, 4 banger, gas miles, not Blue.

Eighth was 1982 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT, Silver.

Ninth was 1983 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT, it is white, still own it.

Tenth was 1985 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT, Silver.

Eleventh 1990 Ford Thunder Bird, it was black.

That's enough.
So I guess you say I Bleed Ford Blue.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

Ya, I bleed ford blue. Even my boat has a 351w. Tried a couple chevy's for the wife to drive....spent all my time under the hood. Now I know why chevy parts are plentiful. Had a GTO that I still miss a little. Other than that, 35 years of fords. Currently have a 2000 F150 4x2 v6, a '86 F250 4x4 w/429, a '69 F250 4x4, restoring; and 2 '68's, a Torino GT and a Falcon. The Falcon is being turned into a 1/4 mile drag car. Like the name says.......Onlyfords!

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

As a german I don't just bleed Blue, I eat, breath and bleed blue...some may say mercedez is germanys number 1 car brand. But i don't give a damn about it...Ford has always been a passion to me.. You would not believe it, but in germany Ford is kind of lampooned.
They got a saying here "er fuhr Ford und kam nie wieder", which means "he drove Ford and never returned" worldwide it seems to be diffrent:
• Best selling car models worldwide 2013 | Statistic

maybe its just a german thing to taunt about home-produced products^^

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

I take pride of my Ford roots. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to be Ford to the core. If the rental is cheaper, I can't afford to get the mustang. But, I always joke that I am Fords best salesmen.

Re: Do You Bleed Ford Blue?

Though I grew up in a ford family and my first the cars were a, 52 Ford Mainline flatty, a 68 Fairlane 390 convert and my 66 7 Litre which I've owned for almost 35 years, the rest of the vehicles have been a mix of Ford and Chrysler with my current highway hauler 05 Magnum and daily/winter beater 89 Reliant.
