No Email Notifications for 10 Days

Hello,

I haven't received any email notifications for subscribed forums or threads in the last ten days...could this have something to do with the security upgrades? What can I do to restore these notifications?

hey there,

could you check to see everything is still turned on for recieving notifications in your UserCP for me? probably due to the password stuff, it may have reset the button for you. turning it back on will help in your profile. let me know though if it is or not though. thanks! we will figure it out.

Hi Shane, thanks for the response.

Still not receiving responses...not even for this post.
Checked in user CP, all is as was before (instant response/daily response).
I have gone back to all the forums and un-subscribed, and then re-subscribed (sort of like a reboot?)
No messages in SPAM folder
My email address is active (getting notifications from other car forums)

Please let me know what I can do to assist you to help get this fixed..can you please respond directly to my email address, as I never know when I get a response to my threads.

Hello again Shane,

In an effort to solve this problem I have changed my password to fit the new requirements. Still nothing.

Can you tell me if you have responded to my email address? if so, I still haven't received anything from you or the FM Forum.

Is it possible that my email address is somehow being rejected or ignored? This has happened to me before at another forum...should I change to an alternate email address?

Hey there,

We have posted to the sites letting users know how to go about changing their passwords. There are a few things that may have happened:



1) the email address wasn’t the current one you use
2) the email is getting blocked by spam or ending up in your junk folder.

If you have not received the password reset email, go to the site and use the password reset tool in the log in window. If this still is not working for you, please go to the contact us page at the bottom right hand corner of the screen and select the “other” field and insert the subject “password reset issue” .


If you have not recieved a reply yet, you will. just be patient. its pretty busy for password resets, but we are getting to them very quickly.

When did the password change emails go out? I don't recall receiving one.

I have already changed my password - will I have to change again after I get the email?

Sorry to be a pest, I just want to get this fixed, and help you guys if I can. I appreciate all of your efforts to strengthen the security if this and the other sites.

hey there,

Can you also do me a favor? can you check your email back end to see if your email flagged us as spam by accident? with my email ive clicked on a flag by accident and it sent all messages from that particular contact to my "disregard" folder, or trash can. that sort of thing.

if you are recieving emails from other car forums, this could be the case. unless other users are complaining about this issue as well.

also, we are sending out a lot of emails and the system is a bit delayed on some emails right now as they go out. this could be the case as well.

either way, check into that for me. on the back end, everything is all set up properly. we will get this sorted. thanks
