'64 Parking Light/Turn Signal Replacement.

I'm replacing my parking/turn signal assembly on my '64 Galaxie 500, anyone know where to get one cheaper than Dearborn Classics? theirs is $30 + shipping. Trying to avoid them.

Re: '64 Parking Light/Turn Signal Replacement.

I bought some off ebay before because of the housings, they were still pretty shiney etc. The wires looked NOS but I find age is not kind, where one of mine is a lot brighter than the other. I am looking into the dearborn replacements instead of the ones I find at the parts houses that are cheapy looking. The only pain will be removing the old socket. I wish someone would reproduce these damn things.

Re: '64 Parking Light/Turn Signal Replacement.

by brighter you mean the metal itself? I have the other problem just replaced the one bulb and now it's almost brighter than my headlight. I haven't checked the connections yet to see if that is the problem. Waiting on the rain to stop. Probably a ground issue more than likely. I suppose if you get the ones from dearborn you won't have to worry about what you are getting from ebay or the condition.
