Spring to Air Bag Conversion

Hello Everyone,

I own a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 4 door with a recent engine swap and suspension makeover. However the car still doesn't ride like I want.

I've heard of air ride suspension kits and I'm interested in learning more.

- How does it ride?
- How easy is the conversion?
- Will it really look that cool when I park the car and lower the car all the way down to get out?

Those kinds of questions. Any help will suffice!

Thanks,

Caleb and Sheila

Re: Spring to Air Bag Conversion

I've been contemplating doing the same to my '66 convertible. I've had my eye on this set-up: https://accuair.com/airmanagementproducts/endo-tanks.
Compressor, and solenoid valves all integrated into the tank. This would make for a real clean look and easier installation.
