Power seat

My 64 galaxie 500xl has a power bucket seat from the factory. The knob that moves the seat was missing when I got the car, about 15 years ago. I have had a long panhead screw in the switch as a knob in the meantime. I would like to get it to look semi correct and finally put a knob on the switch, but I don't know what it's supposed to look like. Anyone have a 64 power bucket that could post a picture of the switch and knob? It would help me determine whether to fab or try interchange from another Ford. I have never seen another 64 with power bucket. It might be a rare factory option. Any help would be appreciated.

I put power Driver and Passenger seat bases out of a 1966 TBIRD into my 1964 Galaxie. I had to adjust the mounts to fit the Galaxie floor but I believe all the other parts, base, motor, relays and switches for the Thunderbird are exactly the same as a Galaxie. (note the 1966 Thunderbird is a 6 way not a 4 way as previous years).

Search for a 1964 Thunderbird Power seat switch as those are reproduced and readily avail.

Here's a pic of the switch itself. Hope this helps (again not 100% certain but think I am right).

Good luck!

Thank you for the pictures and the info Jose. Looks exactly like the one in my 64. Mac's has the switch for about $80. My switch still works, but easiest route would be to order a switch just to get the knob. The Interchange information really helped.

The switch assembly on the 63 500 XL is different than the 64. The actual switch looks the same. So the knob would work on my 64. The way the two assemblies mount to the seat is different. 64 T-bird assembly looks identical though. Thank you for the pictures of the 63 500 XL.
