Probably has been mentioned already, and is obvious to anyone that spends much time on this forum ... This is one of the premier destinations for online Ford related gab, information and just plain "hangin' out. Source? PHR!

Popular Hot Rodding mentioned, quoted or did a multi-page spread on several members of this forum in the current May issue.

1.) The Baby blue, Tiny Titan Terror - 67 Falcon of subscriber/member 67Falconer , got a 5 page spread. It highlighted not only his car - it even got a couple of shots of his mug ... way more than the required "15 minutes of Fame" ... supposedly allocated by the late Andy Warhol. Gotta' give it up ... 'Mad Props' to 67Falconer for taking the "Put up or Shut up challenge" on such short notice. http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/ima...s/icon_tup.gif The title of the feature article is "Close Call". Pickup a copy and bask in the reflected glory. Especially those that have been here, before Ford Muscle became famous! http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/ima.../icon_cool.gif ... So cool, Gotta’ wear shades! interject theme music "I wear my Sun Glasses at Night"! or alternate "Future So bright, Gott'a wear Shades"! ... Yes, I'm Old, and lovin' it!

2.) The Ford Muscle name and page shot was listed in an article called "Car Magazines in the internet Age". I was surprised they would take the bold step of contrasting the merits of both on their pages. What was interesting is they chose this online Magazine/Forum to feature. There are/were many forums to choose from, they must have seen something unique in this membership that warranted mention in their pages? To paraphrase that old chestnut 'it takes village to raise a Child', in the case of an Online forum ... 'It takes Administrators, subscribers, members, casual Drop-ins, etc.; most of all, an oveall sense of sharing and good humor to raise a good Online Magazine/forum! Too much chest thumping, you drive away the middle of the road and newbbies just beginning, too restricted and you lose the "flavor" that makes it fun and draws you back to see who, what did something worth reading about. Most of the time... http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/ima...icon_frown.gif , we seem to get it right! http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/ima...s/icon_tup.gif Give the Administrators a royal razz berry - don't want them to get too big headed. http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/ima.../icon_spin.gif

3.) One of the writers from PHR dropped by a few months ago ... asked questions and sought opinions. Many of us thought ... Uh, oh - well, here we go again... like a prairie Dog town watching a coyote skulking through the area - we sent up the "Troll Alert"!

Even though this was just one issue, I think we can bring down the guard - a little - let’s see how things shake out? Maybe there is space for both online and hard copy magazines to titillate the eyes-on crowd? At the very least, we may see more traffic, more subscribers – which means the administrators can do more articles, feature cars and produce more “how to” articles – maybe even a few short How-to videos? :hint, hint, hint? That’s something that is impossible for the hard copy media – easy to do online!

Agreed!

I stuck a Fordmuscle sticker on my Volvo. That's how hardcore I am. http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/ima.../icon_razz.gif

Watch Ford try to sue the site now? What a bunch of leeches.

I told everybody before my shoot that I was going to wear a Ford Muscle tee shirt if they (PHR) would let me, and they did.
I credit this site and its users for my 15 minutes of fame which would not have materialized if I hadn't found this site and used the information found here to better my car.
The May issue of PHR is on the stands right now.

Did you write this or copy it from somewhere???

I've gotten good info here, seemed fair to give proper credit in print.
