Not really... To me anyway...

Weren't Lincoln engines used for racin' and Shine runnin' way back in the day?

I do that all the time. Want to call and ask her about something or send an email saying "Can you believe this crazy s**t?!" and then remember the ol broad bailed and isn't going to answer. I sure miss her.

Yeah, Lincoln engines were used for all kinds of things. Even into the 60s there were lots of go fast goodies available for the MEL engine.

In 59 or 60 there was a T-Bird that ran Nascar that was 430 Lincoln powered.

The 430 was optioned in one of the square birds [58-60] can't remember which year though.
