I saw a report where Paul Newman died. He had been one of the very few Hollywood actors that expressed, on screen and off, some of the things that - in my opinion - make up what a man should be. Whether the characters he played were Good guys or bad, you got the feeling they were doing the right thing. The "bad" characters he played, somehow came off as redeemable. The "good" characters were sometimes flawed, but rose to occasion when the need became critical.

Maybe the news was manipulated, but he had the good sense to keep any "messy" he got into out of the mass media ... and I'm sure they tried to find something!

He lived a full life. Tip 'O the Hat to Paul Newman.

I saw the post on th HAMB. Godspeed Paul Newman.

I grew up watching all his movies. There won't be many actors the likes of him again.

I may have to watch Towering Inferno this weekend. Not a great movie but you get Stevie and Paul in one package!

RIP Blue eyes.
