blows radiator hoses off

I have a 460 roush block bored to 598 (18 bolts) super cobra jet aluminum heads (10 bolts) my engine builder installed the cometic gaskets I bought but when I filled it with water it sipped out between the head and block so he r/r the heads but he reinstalled them with stock felpro gaskets and as soon as I started for the first time it over heated and blew both hoses off. I can only assume the gaskets blew at an exhaust port and is blowing exhaust into the radiator. my question is what gaskets should I use and should I plug the other 16 holes off on the block. p.s. it has an 871 bds blower w/a 1250 hp efi bug catcher
