Hi every body, I'm a newby, so I'm keeping the generic q's down, I've read a lot of good info here, and on 460ford, I found a set of D0VE-a heads with 2.25/1.76 stainless valves, double springs, good to .625 lift, new hardened retainers and keepers, positive valve seals,7/16 screw in studs and guide plates, and have been milled .010 , they are ready to go , but have not been ported at all, for about 650 including shipping,, is there some where I've heard you can learn to port your own heads, even buy a slice of head to see how its done ? or mayby somebody can port them ? they look real nice, but with the heads milled .010 what will that do to the CC volume, and the compression ratio for the engine,, will be 460 bored 60 over 473 cube, stock, polished crank, fully preped truck rods, brand new arp football bolts,, wanting about 525 horse power, and a little more torque, if these heads were ported properly would they get me there with the correct cam piston combo,, thanxs
