I wanted to ask about that TCI C4 you have. Can you tell me what model and what the input spline count is? Have you got an idea how much you're going to want for it? I'm concerned about the input because last year I bought a new TCI Street Fighter torque converter and am hoping it'll work. Mine is the older 24 spline am I'm guessing yours is a 26. I'd rather not waste a $500 converter if I don't have to and really don't want to buy another one. One other option I'm considering is swapping to a manual like a Top Loader or whatever. I realize it's lots of work but it might be fun. Ed says you might even have one. Just looking at options.

Let me know and we'll talk again soon.

    Thanks, John

Sorry about the time lapse since your message. I don't check as often as I should. The Hooker Headers were purchased way back in 1978 after I did a rebuild. After may arguments with my valve train, I broke down and bought the 331 that is nestled in there now. I was fortunate that the Hookers were still in good shape but I have no idea which model they are. They were purchased at Super Shops (which no longer exist.) All I remember is that I went in and asked for a set of Hookers for my 289. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
