1987 Mustang GT For Sale

1987 Ford Mustang GT - $11,500. Reasonable Offers Considered.

Original owner 40,500 mile car. Original paint.
This car was used as a daily driver and was bracket raced on the weekends at Quaker City for about four or five years and then semi retired to occasional drives and cruises. It has seldom seen rain, and has never been in the snow.
At the track, the car has run the quarter mile in the 12.40s and 12.30s at up to 109 mph.
It has the following performance equipment:
Saleen Intake system, 70mm throttle body, and 77mm Pro M mass air meter (converted to mass air system), 24.lb injectors, 110 liter fuel pump, MSD ignition.
Fully ported factory heads with large valves (1.94 intake, 1.60 exhausts), studs, guide plates, and full roller rockers
B303 Ford Motorsport camshaft
Full length headers with H-pipe, Flowmaster mufflers with short turn downs
Hurst Shifter
Auburn 31-Spline rear end, with heavy duty Motorsport axles and 4.10 gears
Southside Machine lift bars, rear drag shocks, driveshaft loop
Centerline brushed aluminum Autodrags (3-1/2 x 15 fronts and 7-1/2x15 rears)
Mickey Thompson street tires on the back, radials up front
Battery relocated to the spare tire well at rear of the car
Line Lock
Subframe connectors
Fiberglass hood with 2 cowl induction (not original paint, of course)

I may have omitted something along the way, but thats the basics of the car. I also have probably 90% plus of the original parts from the car and some spares, and they all go with the sale of the car.
So, a potential buyer will hopefully understand what this car is, and what it is not. Its a clean car, but its not show car perfect. As with any race car or old classic car, it could use some minor attention here and there. I will gladly discuss anything a buyer would be interested in.
The car is a good candidate to either go further down the racing path (a lot of the harder street/strip stuff is already done), or, possibly restore to a survivor type original, since it has not been painted.
Ive priced this car based on what I think would be less cost than it would be to duplicate it today.
It would be difficult to find an original paint car with 40K miles to begin with, so this car is a pretty good base.
OR, finding a restorable high mileage one and redoing the mechanics and paint, youd easily be close to $10K if not more.
In either case, thats BEFORE any performance equipment is added.
Im really looking for the right buyer that understands the car and will put it to good use. If you stayed with me until now, you probably know what Im trying to convey. To the right buyer, the car will be appreciated.
