Which Flaming River Steering box for my 67?

So I am really confused on which steering box to get for my mustang. All the sites say I should just get the box without the complete integrated shaft, however, according to this tech article:
http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2002/07/steeringbox/
I need the model that everyone says is for the 65-66. My steering box, looks exactly like the one in the link for the pre-mid 67's, mine defintly does not have a rag joint on it. I am just confused becasue all sites are then wrong based on this description. Also what length should I get? becasue some sites say get a 43'' shaft, others advertise a 45''... too many options man. I would like to have the new one in there when I take my old one out, any help you could give would be awesome thanks

What I've done in the past is put a steering box for a '68 in it. You will have to find a '68 steering column and mounts. It's a bolt in. This will give you a collapsable column instead of having the steering shaft harpoon you in the chest if you were to ever have an accident. You'll have to put a rag joint in it and get the correct pitman arm to fit the steering box shaft (1-1/8"dia I think). It's not the cheapest way to go, but it's the safest and with the Flaming river box the steering feel will greatly improve.
