Been a long time since I posted on the car, so thought I'd give an update.
I've gotten quite a bit done in the past 4 months.
Header fabrication done using Hedman components, 2 1/8" primaries, 3 1/2" collectors, saved the original 3" JR header mufflers and G&R pipes, ceramic coated the entire setup from flange to tip in the original flat black
Busted seat repaired
Seat covers repaired
Wiring cleaned up under dash (Oh,, the horror!)
Wiring cleaned up under hood, voltage regulator back to original location
Fuel system finished under hood back to original configuration
Trans temp gauge installed
New trans oil cooler installed
Fuel level gauge installed
Re-routed speedometer cable back to the original setup
Removed Winters shifter and installed original style setup shifter, custom heim joint linkage
Installed proportioning valve, re-routed and installed all new brake lines
Installed the old Roush Accel dual point/tach drive, Jones mechanical tach now working
Original SK water pump rebuilt/restored
All new correct radiator hoses
New thermostat (it was missing)
Battery box repaired/rebuilt
Missing dzus fasteners in rear under hatch area repaired/replaced
Hood mods completed to duplicate original setup (Harder than it looked!), hinges, latch, release cable done
Air cleaner modified to use until original can be duplicated
New comp engineering adjustable shocks installed in front
Also completed all needed repairs to horn, lights, wipers, etc to make it street legal again.
Now collecting/fabricating necessary parts for the rear suspension restoration back to the original setup.
Once the rear is done, then finally cosmetics...paint, etc.
Also waiting on a mint 69/70 Mach scoop to modify to match the original.
