Glove Box Lock

Is the lock on the glove box something I can replace? Or get another key for easily?

It is replaceable, not sure about getting a replacement key made if you don't have one already though.

Re: Glove Box Lock

I don't have a key for the glove box, would I have to find another glove box that has a key and exchange the two? Or is there a kit I can buy w/ a new key + lock?

no kit that I know of, but there are several people I can think of that might have one they can sell you.

Re: Glove Box Lock

If you know anyone in Canada that'd be best, easier for shipping. But I'd go for anything as long as it worked.

You could take it to a locksmith. They should be able to help you.

Re: Glove Box Lock

I tried calling a few here locally, they wanted $50 and up just to make me a key.
