sluggish 95 GT with AODE

Just working on my buddys 95 which is one of the most sluggish 5.0's I've driven.

On the menu is new Mac long tubes, off road pipes, no cats , smog pump eliminator kit, just replaced the anemic 2.73's with 3.73's and a full tuneup.

The transmission in this car (AODE) is very sluggish in shifting. Is there a good kit for the tranny out there or someone who specializes in making a shift improver kit for the AODE?

I realize there is a chip to help correct some of the shifting issues.

Just trying to 'perk up' this car and make it fun to drive like a 5.0 should be...thanks..John

I ordered a valve body from lentech which made a huge difference in the firmness of the shifts. You can also have a chip tuned for firmer shifts and change the shift points. I used a SCT 4-bank chip for this. I'm running a 1.8 60ft with the car in drive and its a convertible.
