coil over question

Has anyone running a 79-04 Mustang installed lowering struts? How did you like em, ride ,cornering & any brand names better than another?
Looking for 2"-3" lower.
And if you know the weight of your 79-04 Mustang, I'm thinking around 3,000 pounds is close?

Re: coil over question

I used these from UPR on my 93 Coupe. 79-04 Mustang Pro Series Front Coil Over Kit with Springs

I didn't have any issues with them. Easy to install and adjust.

Re: coil over question

I run the Maximum Motorsport Coil Over Kit with Bilstien Shocks. Works great.

Lowering Struts? Don't you mean lowering springs? Never heard of lowering struts.

I would suggest you install a set of new FMS progressive rate coil springs to lower your stock Mustang about 1.5". Still get a descent ride and good looks. If you lower it any more it really does not help your Mustang handle better.

Otherwise install a complete coil over kit and just set it where you want it.
