Exclamation MDMonster ('86 GT) Chassis Project!

Had some work done on my car's Chassis and Rear Suspension up-grades. This all started with not liking the 8-point Molly cage in my car. Also, I wasn't happy with the cheap frame connectors on it. I had my run of Bad Luck here in MD with shops and people, so I took a chance a a great group of people in PA to do the work. My new Talented/Honest Friends did some Fantastic work on my car. My friend's name is Todd Witman and his Talented Son. Here are some Before pics:

I decided to get the following parts and labor to be done:

  2. Install TeamZ Thru-Floor Frame Connectors
  3. Install S&W 10-point Mild Steel Cage w/ Added X-Brace
  4. Install Chassis Engineering Door Swing-Out Kit
  5. Repair any Sheet Metal on Floors etc.
  6. Install TeamZ Mini-Tub kit
  7. Install TeamZ Strip Series Upper Relocated Control Arms
  8. Install TeamZ Off-Set Lower Control Arms
  9. Install TeamZ Anti-Roll Bar
  10. Install TeamZ Instant Center Brackets
  11. Install Strange Rear Coil Overs w/Single Adjustable Shocks
  12. Try to reuse the Aeromotive Sumped Tank I had
  13. Install a Windowe Net Frame and Release
  14. Redo the Welding on my Torque Box Reinforcements
  15. Weld Brackets for my Electric Interior Heater

Work Begins:

Excellent! New cage is so much better than the first one. 86 is one of my favorites and was my first Mustang. great project!

Thanks! I never would of gotten this far without the help of new friends up in PA. Can you believe it. They actually do what they say they will do and their quality/craftsmanship shows! Plus, they never went over budget!
