86 coup odd ball?

Been looking at a 86 coup, it's a roller.

Question, on exterior parts I see sometimes a dealer won't state anything for a 86 mustang?

Like a exterior kit goes to 85, then next one starts off at 87!

Is there something different about the 86's?

Don't want to pull the trigger on this and find out that 86's are odd balls with no after market parts for it much.

Thanks for any feed back

Re: 86 coup odd ball?

85 and 86 are physically identical from a body standpoint. Electrically the 86 is a one year car. If you have any 86 specific questions I can answer any and all of them.
