EFI to carb conversion ?
I am putting a 5.0 from a 92 Lincoln into a 83 Mustang and we are switching it to a carb. I have most everything figured out but need some advice on a distributor.
Can I just put a steel gear on my Duraspark unit or is there some way to use the TFI from the Lincoln ? Maybe go with an aftermarket like MSD or Pertronix self contained distributor ?
Can I switch the steel gear for the TFI to the Duraspark shaft ?
Father/son project and we are definitely working on a budget.
