Welcome to the forums. The AC clutch plate or entire clutch assembly is easy to replace. If only your clutch plate is damaged, they are about $30-$40 on-line and remove with a ratchet and 8mm socket to replace. Including adjusting the clearance with shims, it should take about 10 minutes. There are probably some video on YouTube or something, but it's so easy you really don't need instructions beyond what comes with the new clutch plate.
If the whole clutch, hub and magnetic coil need replacing (usually not) they are around $50-$80 on-line. Probably twice that much at the parts store. Don't spend too much, as an entire rebuilt compressor isn't much more. To swap the entire clutch assembly is about 30 minutes and you'll also need snap ring pliers and a couple screwdrivers or a puller to remove the other parts. In no case should the compressor need removal or refrigerant service as you're only replacing exterior parts.
