Only a few THOUSAND dollars. I really didn't care for them either, and now I own a 2010 GT. Just think, if your driving it you can't see the taillights anyway.

I agree on the '10...the morning after seeing the 'reveal' onthe speed channel, called the dealer to order a spare 09 identical to my 06 gt...As far as changing the rearend, it would be major surgery- the quarters are shortened a lot, and it would take some serious work to fix. there is a option coming- Cervinis is showing teaser ads over at themustangsource.com of a new 'shelby' option- I dont love it, but think its a lot better than anything else out there. rumour is the 5.0 is going to be available as a retrofit kit for 05-09s- that/the 6 speed/the interior are great, but I cant get past the 10 looks...like the late great GTO, the car is awesome, but the looks just not there for me

CONFIDENCE: that feeling you get just before you realize the mess you got yourself into...
