Another Newbie to the Forums!

Greetings Everyone!!

I'm the new guy, my name is Kevin and I am an elementary school music teacher and church choral director who lives in East Tennessee and am excited to be a part of the forums.

I have a 1969 XL Convertible 351w. My baby is Pink, bought her off of eBay this color. I'm still deciding what color to paint her, and am open to suggestions! Only mod so far is swapped factory 2bbl to an Edelbrock 4bbl.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Kevin

Welcome to the forum. My vote is for Viper Red. They will see you coming for miles and maybe those fools out there won't run into that nice ride. Roger

That is a lot of real estate to paint red. The car looks white in the thumbnail and that would be really classy. I have seen the big cars in light yellow and they look great. I had a 1968 Mercury Montego wagon that was a turquoise tinted white that I really liked. What does the data plate say the original color was?

Thank you Roger! I'm still mulling it over. I'm likely to leave her pink for a bit, no one around here has one like that!

Have a great one!

Thank you Mercury4me....she was originally medium blue according to the door plate, but was also red at one time before going pink. I kinda thought that a darker blue or even a Royal Maroon would make the white interior stand out. Still pondering though!

Have a good one!
