there should be two freeze plugs on the front of the block facing the radiator one on each side of the timing cover and all the freeze plugs should be screw in type

Ford Racing new Boss 302

I'm looking at a Falcon that I plan to buy. I was told by the owner that it has a new Boss 302 block with a lot of mods to it. How do I conform that it is a boss 302 block with out pulling it apart. Is there a casting number like the stock blocks? If so what would the casting number be and is it in the same place as the stock block. The engine looks great and sounds great. But I'm not so sure that the guy is being honest. He comes across as a real big BSer. Maybe fluffing the car up to get a better price.I have no experience with the ford performance blocks.Roger
