I am running a Holley Srip Dominator and CHI 4V Aluminum heads in a 1971 Boss 351 stroked to 385CID. This bolts right up and will fit under the stock hood. Pulls like a Freight Train. 560 HP.

Well, after today, it looks like I'll be cast iron again next season. (see other post for details)

That big ol' stick is no more. I think I will tone down the cam a bit this time and see what happens.

You have already got some dollars in the heads, if I was you I would finish them off. If you don't pick up atleast 50+ hp with a mild port, chamber and seat job I'll eat my hat.
The Parker should be ok with your ci and rpm.
Option 3 could run into plenty of $'s and read of others experiences on the 335 forum and others before heading down that route.
Thats alot of cam you have there.....

Even with the iron heads you can run the times you want. I agree that you could use a smaller cam. The high revs and hugh cam just aren't nessessary for your combo.

With CHI or AFD heads you could have 11.5 comp, and spin it to 7000-7500, with a lot small cam and run the times you want.
What does your car weigh?

Nothing has really been done to my 4V's port-wise.

Screw in studs, guide plates, Ferrera valves, Jomar stud girdle, 1.73 roller tips, comp springs to match cam, Ti retainers, 10* locks

Ports and combustion chambers are untouched.

What are done to the current heads? You should see 600HP at that RPM with that combo unless the heads are stock. 600HP will get you your ET so I would wonder why you want to 'upgrade' to an equivalent head.

I'm looking to get more out of my little cleveland. For those that don't know, current specs:

385ci stroker
12.5:1 CP pistons
Eagle crank and rods
4V closed chamber heads
stock ports
Ferrera valves
Comp roller valve train .750 lift 280 @ .050
Jomar stud girdle
Holley Strip Dom
BIGS Stage V 950 DP
Hooker Super Comp Headers

Here are some things I'm kicking around for the winter:

1.) Funnelweb intake. I'm sure its better than the strip dom. With or without stuffers, though? I spin my motor to 8000 or a little more.

2.) Port work on the 4V's. Expensive, but I've already got a lot into these heads with the screw in studs, guide plates, valves, Ti keepers, etc.

3.) CHI heads. Looking at their website, I may have to run the 4V's to clear the domed pistons. If so, then I could run the intake of my choice. If I can get the 3V's with 4V combustion chambers, then I am stuck with their intake. What about my headers? Their exhaust ports are .7 inches higher. I'm thinking my headers will not bolt on. Maybe I could have them modified.

I was really hoping for a 10.50 out of the current motor, but it doesn't look like I will get it. I want a 10.50 before I bolt on N2O.

Any opinions or anyone with first hand experience with CHI heads?
