I'll take a look at that and see if I can find anything. Thanks

I wonder if the accelerator rod is grounding out a wire under the dash or hood?

'73 351C Stops cranking when accelerator pressed

I've got a problem I've never seen before. I don't drive my 73 much, and when I got it out after a winter in the garage, when the car is cranking to start, if I hit the gas pedal it shuts down. Everything stops, no cranking, no clicking nothing. As soon as I take my foot off of the gas pedal, it start turning over again. Any ideas?
