Cut the rivets off of the front mount for the spring. Flip it over using 2 of the original mounting holes & drill 2 more. Use grade 8 bolts to bolt it back to the frame.

I got a set of lowering mounts off ebay...should get a 2" drop out of it....$100.00 bucks...can't beat it....

Lowering/Lift blocks or if the axle is below the springs, put it on top of the springs.

lowering rear of '69 f100

I have the flex-o-matic rear leaf springs on our '69 f100. What the best way to get a 2-4" drop out of it?? It seems to not be as easy as getting a set of drop shackles and putting them on. I am looking to level out the rear of the truck and naturally ...we're doing this on a budget. Whatcha think.....
