sfarley So any of the frame mounts/insulators from that list will work? Now I just need to find some. Engine/trans mounts were in stock at a local chain parts store.

Just get what you need for/from any car in the list below. They all use the same engine mounts (2257), and the trans mount (2253) is used across even more years and models. Note your trans cross-member may need mods or replacement if the old trans was not compatible, though it probably is.

1970 Mercury Montego 351W mount question

new guy here. I have a 1970 Montego, originally a 302/auto car. EVERYTHING was pulled out as far as the drive train and mounts. I have a 351W /C6 to go in the car. I'm looking for info on which motor mounts and engine mount brackets for the frame I need. I keep getting all kinds of answers and just not sure. I was told the original 302 mounts and brackets would work (which I don't have anyway), I've been told the 351 mounts and brackets from a 71 mustang will work. Just need some help. Thanks.
