Re: My wheelie pic

4 link rear. Update also. Ran a best of [email protected] on a 250 shot last year. I never really tuned any on each HP level, just ran the conservative tune that Steve told me to start with. This year, I added a crank trigger, ported the intake much closer to the heads. Took off the stock rear drum brakes and stock front disc's. MUCH easier to turn, and not to mention dropped over 80 lbs with the strange setup!. Put in a TCP rack and smaller battery, shed another 20lbs. Hopefully have some more time to dial in each tune. (and maybe even try the 300 shot). Hope to hit my goal this year of having a full interior pump gas street car (with cd player) and run 8's @ 150+.

Re: My wheelie pic

Well put the 200 shot to it. Ran a best of [email protected] with a 1.36 60ft. One pass ran a 1.26 60ft with the front wheels in the air But I had to lift cause it was drifting towards centerline. Next stop - 250 shot!

I am thinking maybe some wheelie bars should be in your future..Glad you didn't tear up that beautiful car.

I wish. lol. Everyone always told me to never lift. Well I thought there is no way this thing has enough power to do that. Plus first time I have ever felt it start to go over, your first instinct is to lift. I hope I learn from this lol. Came down and I thought nothing was hurt. It bounced a few times and I thought well that was a hell of a ride. All of a sudden BANG. Car steered right towards the wall! I was standing on the brakes skidding all over. Just barely climbed wall with back bumper. Actually lucky nothing on body was hurt. I have the TCP upper control arms and it snapped the one side in half, bent the other side almost breaking. Collapsed front springs, bent tie rod, bent lower shock mounts. OH well. So I put in the shop over winter and put the new motor in, which with the new fogger will be around 350 hp more. Smart huh? lol. I am headed to Cedar Falls Ia on Sat. Going to put the 200 shot with some 110oct in and see what I can get done. I have an actual vid but dont' know how to post it.

My wheelie pic

My wheelie last year with the stock block 408, pump gas, and a 150 shot.

Now I have a 427 sbf with an Induction Solutions fogger. Still 10.8-1 compression. Dynod 715 on motor. So far tried another 150 shot on pump gas. Went [email protected] No wheelie this time thankfully.
