It looks pretty good.
Check for rust in the rear cab corners, front and rear cab mounts, radiator to frame mounting points.

Not sure what to ask the owner except will you take less.

There are few truck forums, fordification is one I believe. And there are several pages on Facebook now.
Even pages for swapping Crown Vic suspension into F100's.

1970 F100 Buyer Advice

Looking at a 1970 F100 as a first time buyer. Was hoping for advice on what to look for/questions to ask. It will be my daily so I need it to be reliable. Found one for sale in my neighborhood with the following done to it:

Rebuilt: V8 302, Heads

New:. Weiend Street Warrior intake manifold, Champion Aluminum radiator, Holley CFM 2barrel carb, Hurst 3 speed shifter, Clutch, Flywheel, Pressure Plate, Drums Brakes w/all hardware, Spark Plug Wires, Proform 302 Ford Racing Air Cleaner Housing

Battery wires upgraded to 0 gauge

Converted to electric fuel pump w/ Holley mighty mite

Custom Upholstery

Asking $4500
