VIN and car history

My Ranchero's VIN is 5H27C1000008 The low number, 8, makes me think it may be "special". My builder on Long Island told me he found paperwork in the car from a show in 1965 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Nassau County NY (Long Island).

Since the car is highly modified it may not matter, but does anyone know of any history of a new Falcon being used at an auto show? I like to know if she has been pampered her whole life.
