Take your car to a spring shop and have them recurve the springs. Go with a set of KYB self adjustable shocks. You should get a decent ride with this set up.

Over the years I have owned four Falcons. I used air shocks,longer shackles,coil over shocks and recurved springs.I think the recurved springs with KYB self adjusting shocks worked the best for ride...

SB Windsor aluminum pulley set.

I have a three pulley v belt set. They are made from aluminum. I had them on my engine till I installed power steering. I now have the two grove pulley set. $100 plus shipping.Roger

If you haven't already, take it to a front end shop and have them do a front end alignment.They can also check the frame to make sure the shock towers are with in spec,s . Roger

Go to a book store. You can find a book on hopping up the Mustang. It will have a section on the heads. It will walk you through the whole deal on cleaning up the heads. Worth every penny.Roger

I have the Doug headers on my 65 Falcon with the stock shock towers. I just changed the plugs today.I didn't have any problems with getting to the plugs.I don't think I would enjoy changing them...
