sounds like you have a major vacuum leak more than likely due the 2x4 carb adapter garbage there are a few used 289/302 aftermarket on ebay do not think you will find one shipped to you cheaper than...

You do not need a rev limiter unless you are racing it and are afraid of missing a shift, Not a great idea to rev it to the floor in neutral

Not saying it will work for you but I ran a 408 Stroker on a OBD1 Mustang 5.0 A9L using 24lb injectors with a proM mass airflow sensor on the street with no issues

Not a great way of doing that job I would not take the advice of some one using a claw hammer to drive in a seal!

if you do it that way make sure you count the threads exposed from the pinion nut...

More than just engine angle that you need to worry about your tranny yoke and pinion yoke need to be at the same but opposite angles and the drive shaft needs to be no more than 3 degrees off that...

no factory Fe in 71/3 Mustangs but you should be able to pull it off with these factory parts but it will not be cheap probably close to $600 in the mounts

It was up for sale back in 2008 for $15k with same pictures and same claim to fame of being a dealer prepped car but if you look closely at the pictures the flairs are close but they are not the same...

Not with that "RAG" joint you do not, its a safety cage to catch the bottom mount on the steering column if the joint fails. The pins on the new joint should do the same thing
